Jeffrey McKinney Celebrates 6 Years With Beach & Bartolo Realtors

Jeff McKinney is an Associate Real Estate Broker, and Beach & Bartolo’s Sales Manager. Jeff takes an extremely proactive, and “hands-on” approach with all his clients, and is there for them through every step of the buying, selling, or renting process. In order to provide his clients with a high level of attention, he prefers to work with a small number of clients at a given time.

Jeff brings his background in T.V. and Online production, and content development to the Real Estate profession, which gives him a unique perspective on staging, photographing, and marketing his client’s properties. Jeff also combines social media savvy with proven Real Estate practices to help his clients sell their homes, and he has had proven success with helping homeowners sell previously “un-sellable” homes. When working with buyers, he makes it a personal mission to help clients find the home of their dreams.

Jeff was born in Philadelphia, PA, and made his way to NYC after graduating college. After a decade of weekend and holiday visits to Columbia County, Jeff left NYC in 2007, and became a permanent resident of this beautiful and unique region. At that time, he identified a lack of online resources covering the county, and some of its smaller towns, so he created one, ColumbiaCountyCurrent.com. The site provides visitors with regularly updated content that covers local news, arts and entertainment, calendar listings and a Real Estate section that provides Jeff’s clients with a unique means of showcasing their homes through feature-style home listings.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, a good happy hour drink with friends, listening to a great music playlist, and continuing to explore Columbia County, to find new and exciting locations.

Jeff welcomes the opportunity to help you with any of your real estate needs, or simply to answer any Real Estate questions you may have. He can be reached at the office at 518-392-2700 ext 111.

Edward “Adam” Nielsen & Tia Nielsen Celebrate 10 Years With The Agency

We are happy to congratulate Adam and Tia on 10 years with the agency this month.

Edward “Adam” Nielsen, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

As a lifelong resident of Columbia County, Adam was born and raised in Copake Falls, NY. He spent most of his childhood ski racing down Catamount, and participating in numerous water sports on Copake Lake. Growing up into a family legacy of reputable builders, Adam has learned from the best

carpenters in the county. His grandfather, father and uncles, taught him everything there is to know about building a custom home, from laying down the foundation all the way to the finishing touches. He currently continues the family tradition of exceptional building.

Besides knowing what our area consists of inside and out, his expertise regarding land, land development, and building site construction go hand in hand with the real estate industry. With his background in building, love for interacting with people, and ability for envisioning property potential, it only seemed natural to become a licensed agent, and help the home buyer/seller with this important investment in their life.

Adam enjoys many outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, hunting, golf and spending time with his family out on Copake Lake.

Tia Nielsen, Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker

As a Columbia County native and Chatham High School graduate, I have lived here in beautiful upstate NY nearly my entire life. I briefly left the area to attend college, earning a BA in Communications from the University of Central Florida. Prior to returning home, I had wonderful experiences being a brand representative for various marketing firms. I traveled nationwide to advertise and boost sales for a 2003 M&M’s candy campaign, and also team managed a product launch in the Northeast, including our Hudson Valley area, for Dunkin’ Donuts brand.

I always knew I would return to where my roots are and raise my family, which during the past six years I have been a stay at home mom for my two very active boys. I enjoy spending time with my family, and appreciating the incredible outdoors and community events that Columbia County has to offer. With my background in the marketing/promotional industry and love for interacting with people, I believe that strong morals such as honesty, courtesy and respect in all relationships are the most valuable characteristics one should possess when assisting consumers. My goal is to bring the upmost, friendly and positive experience to all home buyers and sellers that I may have the pleasure to work with. I am excited about joining such a reputable, hometown agency as Beach and Bartolo. I look forward to helping people find their dream home.

Jennifer obtained her Associate Real Estate Broker license in February of 2022 after 2.5 years as a Licensed RE Salesperson.  She was named the 2020 Rookie of the Year by the Columbia Greene Board of Realtors.  Before real estate, Jennifer had a successful career operating a chain of specialty boutiques across Manhattan, Westchester County, and Connecticut.  After 16 years in the corporate world, she made a pivot and hasn’t looked back.  She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, this background in art & design has proven to be an asset in the real estate world.

Deborah Kinney Celebrates 18 years with Beach & Bartolo Realtors

Congratulations to Deborah Kinney for 18 years of working with Beach & Bartolo Realtors. Get to know more about Deborah below.

Deborah Kinney, Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker

Before I moved to this area, I worked as a real estate agent in NYC. I began with extensive training offered by Century 21, then joined MJ Raynes RE, moved onto William B. May, and there spent several years developing skills geared towards the investment RE market.

I was perfectly positioned then to assist my clients who had anticipated the RE market crash of the late 80’s. I eventually joined Morgan Barrington as Director Of Investment Sales. During those years I began visiting this region. My RE philosophy remains one in which the investment potential of purchasing RE is my primary focus in guiding my customers & clients.

It is my pleasure to find you your dream property or sell your current property, and I will work gladly at those tasks, but I will also do my best to enhance your financial portfolio with a profitable return.

Reta Meisner Celebrates Second Year With Beach & Bartolo

Congratulations to Reta Meisner on her second anniversary with Beach & Bartolo Realtors. Get to know more about Reta below.

Reta Meisner, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

I was fortunate enough to be born into a legacy of Columbia County real estate and agriculture, as my parents owned and operated Milton Meisner Realty, for decades.  And for over a century, we have farmed this beautiful county.  I was raised here and chose to do the same for the next generation.  This county is my community and in such a small area, everyone is connected.

My background is diverse, including knowledge in the fields of accounting, general contracting, farming and real estate.  I am not new to this industry, as I was licensed in real estate at age 18.  I hold a BBA in Accounting from Siena College and am the owner of Reta Tiano Consulting, a financial management business.

In some ways it feels as if I have come full circle, but with much more experience and wisdom.  I have learned the soul of money and the uniqueness of each individual’s needs, which like a garden, must be nurtured and respected.  It is a great honor to hold one’s trust and advocate on their behalf in order to assist in achieving their desired goals.

I look forward to servicing my clients to the best of my abilities and promise to bring honesty and integrity to every dealing.

Brian Wagner Celebrates Third Year!

Congratulations to Brian Wagner who is celebrating his third year with Beach & Bartolo Realtors.

Brian David Wagner, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Brian fell in love with real estate 24 years ago when he bought his first home in Boston. He became so enamored with the whole process and the thrill of finding that perfect home that he put that passion to great use over the years by helping several friends navigate the waters on their way to finding the perfect home too, all while buying and selling several of his own. So, when he and his husband bought a weekend home in Austerlitz 13 years ago, it was only natural to begin a discussion of putting that passion to use in a more formal way once he was ready to leave the corporate world!

6 years ago Brian got his real estate license, 4 years ago he and his husband moved full time from NYC to their home in Austerlitz and the rest as they say is history! Brian brings over 30 years of business acumen to his career in real estate, having spent countless hours negotiating for and supporting his clients. This business knowledge coupled with his passion for real estate and love of Columbia County means someone who knows his way around a deal and will always be in your corner!
